It's no news that I crave colors. It's my Brazilian side- I live for colors, hues, shades, rainbows, I love it all! That is why every time I see the Rosena Sammi booth at the NY shows, I smile big and run to it. I absolutely get a kick out of picking out the bangle color combos, I would buy them all if I could!

Tunic, we often throw the word around, but not everyone can identify one when they see it in the store.
There is a long definition of 'tunic' on Wikipedia, but the short answer is: it's whatever you need it to be. I stand 5' 3.5" tall. A tunic typically hits me just below my finger tips with my arms at my side.
In flats, a tunic is my favorite summer dress. A belt or a scarf can be added to bring a little definition to my waist. In heels, (the higher the heel, the closer to God) I can be as tall as 5' 9". Then, my cute dress transforms magically into my favorite tunic! Paired with my favorite pair of straight jeans, I am ready for a wild and crazy night out...which usually ends by 10.

Once in a while we find a new jewelry designer that can deliver amazing taste, craftsmanship, affordability and the bonus of being made in our beloved US of A. Fern found Loren Hope last year when reading one of her favorite blogs, Dallas Shaw.
Loren's own words: "I am a huge fan of vintage jewelry. I have always been intrigued with antiques and relics from our past – the colors, craftsmanship, quality and attention to detail in vintage jewelry are constant inspirations for me." And it shows. We received her first delivery a couple of weeks ago, and more will trickle in during summer.
